Candle Care

At Citrine, our candles are made with a blend of soy and beeswax, designed to melt smoothly and fill your home with warmth.

Here is how to take care of your candle, because your first burn is the most important!

Before you burn, place your candle on a stable heat resistance surface away from flammable objects.

Trim your wick to 0.5 cm in between burns.

Keep away from from flammable materials (books, curtains,..) and out of reach of children and pets.

Stop burning when there's 1 cm of wax left to prevent overheating.

After burning, always extinguish with a snuffer never with water, and try not to blow it up. Allow enough time for the wax to melt completely forming a pool to the edges, typically 1-2 hours.

While burning, do not let your candle burn for more than 3 hours at a time.

Keep an eye on your candle, do not leave a burning candle unattended.

Stop burning when 1 cm of wax is left at the bottom.

Wait until the wax melts fully before moving the candle or closing the lid.
